Karlie Kloss for Warby Parker Is FINALLY Here

by Rosie Narasaki

The highly-anticipated Karlie Kloss x Warby Parker collection launched today, and they held quite the soiree to celebrate last night. Held in what was, according to Leandra Medine (of man-repelling fame), "a flower shop turned dinner venue," the launch party looked like the epitome of class. Monogrammed eco-friendly canvas tote bags hung off the back of each chair, and freshly cut leafy bouquets made up the center piece at the table, as well as a decoration for each individual place setting — it certainly looked like a party befitting one of New York's brightest young models (and famed BFF of Taylor Swift).

And good for Warby Parker for so effectively promoting one of their highest profile collabs to date (past collaborations include Beck and Leith, among others). After all, they're noted for their charitable causes — Lucky Magazine editor in chief Eva Chen even called them out twice in her recent AMA, citing them as an example to one of her young fans who asked her about finding a balance between fashion and making a difference in the world. And in addition to their standard, "one-for-one" donating policy, Karlie's line in particular will benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC, an organization that works with low-income schools to teach children healthy habits.

Guess the healthy habits started last night with the serving of Karlie's Kookie ice cream sandwiches:

Yum!

Though on closer inspection...

...They look almost too healthy, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, the new collection features three new '70s-inspired wire-rimmed sunnies:

In most of the promo images, Kloss is featured in the Clara frames, though in the selfie below, she wears the Julia aviators (Medine and Chen both wear the cat eye-inspired Marple frames).

Which are your favorite? Personally, I'm a fan of the Claras, because I look like an owl and like round glasses that make me look even more like an owl.
