Get ready for an extra dose of cute, royal baby fans: the royal family has announced George Alexander Louis Windsor's official nickname, and it's "Georgie." Adorably proud grandpa Prince Charles told the press that the newborn will be called "Georgie in no time," following this perfect statement on being a new grandfather:

“Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone’s life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months [...] so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time ...”

Apparently, this nickname is as much a birthright as the rest of this baby's names, as the late Prince George, Duke of Kent, originated the nickname in the family.
