Jimmy Fallon has an uncanny knack of getting celebrities to participate in the strangest of games. So who knew his toughest challenge would be Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson? On Wednesday night, Mama June and Honey Boo Boo stopped by Jimmy Fallon for a little cheerleading, but Honey Boo Boo wasn't very interested in listening to Fallon.
In the interview portion of the show, Honey Boo Boo squirms in her seat and buries her head in her mom's arms as Fallon asks questions about her cheerleading hobby. He then suggests that she show off her skills to the audience. She seems shy and reticent to do it, but Mama June coaches her along and soon she is shouting "Jimmy!" repeatedly, seemingly forgetting that she is only supposed to do it twice. Then Fallon joins in saying, "When I say Honey, you say Boo Boo!" But Honey Boo Boo jumps in before Fallon can start and shouts "Honey! Honey Boo Boo!" by herself. This may be Fallon's show, but Honey Boo Boo Child does what she wants, when she wants.
It's funny to watch Fallon try to roll with the punches, especially after he asks for a friendship bracelet and Honey Boo Boo declines to hand him one. There's something pretty refreshing about watching Fallon get steamrolled by this adorable kid. Watch for yourself below:
