Let's Set Piz Up with Some Lucky Actresses

by Kaitlin Reilly

Full disclosure: When it came to Veronica Mars, I was so Team Logan. Yes, Logan and Veronica's love was beautiful and epic, but the real reason why I wanted LoVe to reunite had less to do with them and more to do with the other side of that triangle. Stosh Piznarski (better known as Piz) was wasn't the typial blah boyfriend who acted as a stand-in for the guy who was really endgame. Piz was witty, smart, genuine, and adorable in his own right. It's not surprising that Piz was great, given that the actor who plays him, Enlisted star Chris Lowell, is also all of those things. So was Lowell luckier in love (spoiler!) than Piz was at the end of the Veronica Mars movie? Here's the weird thing: We have absolutely no idea. Really. Just try to find information about Lowell's love life. Go on, I'll wait.

...

Nothing, right? Sure, Lowell isn't exactly Leonardo DiCaprio famous, but he's not a Hollywood newcomer, either. After his role on Veronica Mars, Piz — sorry, sorry, Lowell — starred on Private Practice for three whole seasons. (Unsurprisingly, Lowell's character Dell met a tragic fate at the end of the third season. Shonda Rhimes, you never fail to break my heart.) He also had a role as Emma Stone's love interest in The Help in 2011 and co-wrote and directed indie film Beside Still Waters . The guy is a pretty big deal, so, naturally, I want to know about his love life. You know, for the purpose of "research."

Either there isn't a single person on this planet worthy of dating Lowell or this guy has mastered keeping his relationships on the down-low. That's a seriously impressive feat on its own, and is just one of the many reasons why everyone in Hollywood should be vying to date the TV star. He certainly has enough gal pals off screen, as he's friends with both his The Help co-star Emma Stone and his Veronica Mars love interest Kristen Bell. Since those are strictly friendships (Stone is with her Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield and Bell just welcomed a baby with now-husband Dax Shepard), these ladies should definitely start setting Lowell up with some of their Hollywood friends. Here are a few suggestions.

Emma Watson

The Harry Potter star recently opened up to Daily Mail about how she has no interest in dating anyone famous. Lowell may be famous, but like Watson, he keeps his relationships very private. For Watson, that just might be the best of both worlds.

Dianna Agron

Both of them know how it feels to be the side of the love triangle no one is rooting for. Agron's Glee character, Quinn, just couldn't compete with Rachel and Finn's star-crossed romance. As a couple, they'd never have to feel like the third wheels again.

Anna Kendrick

The Pitch Perfect star claims that no one has hit on her in five years. I have no earthly idea on how that could possibly be the case, but if it is, Lowell, this is your chance.

Sophia Bush

Truth is, I just love this actress. These two must know each other from CW parties, right? Bush starred for what seemed like forever on the CW's One Tree Hill, the network that Veronica Mars moved to in its final season. The current Chicago P.D. star always seems so cool and honest in her interviews. Lowell, give her a call, okay?
