She Has a Special "Movie Star Crush"

by Aly Semigran

Never say never to the idea of marriage... Well, at least if you're Mila Kunis. The 30-year-old actress and engaged mother-to-be revealed to W magazine — which she graces the cover of for its August issue — that she's come around to the concept of wedded bliss. "I never wanted to get married,” Kunis said. "From the age of 12, I prepared my parents for no marriage. Then things changed, I found the love of my life. Now my theory on weddings is: Don’t invite anyone. Do it privately and secretly. My parents are okay with that. They’re just excited that I said yes."

While Kunis has never been the guarded type in interviews, she got especially mushy when she talked about her husband-to-be, Ashton Kutcher. Kunis, who said she's "excited about being a full-time mom," reminisced that she had her "first real kiss" and her "prom date" with Kutcher when they starred on That '70s Show together. (That's pretty damn adorable when you think about it.)

But the real highlight of the interview is when the actress exclaimed, "We all get movie star crushes. I’m marrying mine." Now, Kunis has certainly played romantic girlie-girls (most notably as Jackie on That 70's Show) and the embodiment of dark, sexual fantasies (her Golden Globe–nominated turn as Lily in Black Swan), but the actress has always given off the air of a real guy's girl in real life and has more often played the laid-back cool chick on-screen.

But, hey, love definitely changes people, both on and off screen. In fact, some of the characters Kunis has played — all of whom embody her no-bullshit, cool-gal spirit — even changed their tune about love in the span of a 90-minute movie.

Jamie in Friends With Benefits

Jamie could guzzle beer and watch sports and have casual sex with Justin Timberlake and be totally content with just that... for the time being. Eventually, she fell head over heels in love with her said friend with benefits, a guy who organized a romantic flash mob just like you see in the movies.

Rachel in Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Rachel was a supercasual, free-spirited hotel concierge who wanted to just have a little fun with a heartbroken guest named Peter (played by Jason Segel). Rachel insisted she was not the type of girl who needed to be doted on, and even though she actively tried to avoid her crazy ex-boyfriend, she was still running away from something. But as much as she claimed to love her life in Hawaii, she eventually considered a new life in L.A. with the adorable good guy Peter.

Lori in Ted

Lori was the marrying kind, but she didn't want to wed her beau John (played by Mark Wahlberg) with his beloved — albeit raunchy and rude — stuffed bear/best friend Ted (Seth MacFarlane) always hanging around. Ted doesn't exit the picture completely, but Lori and John still eventually get hitched.
