Your Fave Shoe Designer Is Getting a Clothing Line

Sam Edelman is already the go-to designer for of-the-moment shoes that aren't too trendy, and — even better — won't completely break the bank. Now the brand is expanding their reach by launching a sportswear collection, set to launch to February 2014.

Sam Edelman (yes, he's a real person) told WWD, "The goal has always been to dress the Sam Girl head-to-toe in my designs, and now it's a reality."

The collection will carry tops, pants, dresses, jackets, and sweaters, and will keep in line with the aesthetic of the existing footwear collection. You can expect great quality, trendy pieces that are actually pretty affordable — who could complain about that?
