You Can Play Cupid on 'The Singles Project'

Are you someone who loves to play cupid with your friends, coworkers, or Seamless delivery guy? Do you have to give your input on what your friends wear on their first date with a new person? Do you love Bravo? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are most likely going to fall in love with the new real-time reality show The Singles Project , which follows six New Yorkers as they try to find love.

The Singles Project is unlike any other dating show on air. Bravo has created an opportunity for viewers and cast members of The Singles Project to interact virtually to help the cast members find love. By using the hashtag #TheSinglesProject and following The Singles Project on Twitter, you can give dating advice, help overcome any insecurities or hangups the cast may have going into the dates, suggest outfits for those looking to dress to impress, and even suggest possible matches for them to date... all virtually! This is matchmaking for the 21st century.

The show is considering itself the first real-time dating docuseries, meaning you can interact with the Singles before their dates, then the show films the dates, and airs them later that week. During the show, viewers watch the dates and then can vote live via Bravo's website on who the Single should keep on seeing, and who they should throw to the curb. Take a look at a sneak peek of the new groundbreaking show.

And if you want a chance to actually date one of the Singles, well that too is in the realm of reality. Seriously, Bravo wants you to be as involved as possible in these six people's lives, which might even come down to you dating one of them. If you want to flirt with the Singles online, just hashtag #TheFlirtProject and send them a selfie or two to let them know you're interested.

You can also follow the Singles on Twitter and Instagram to see behind-the-scenes footage of their dates before they air later that week. Here is an Instagram video from Kerry Cassidy on the first day of filming to peak your interest.

The meddler in me is totally hooked on this concept, and can't wait to see who finds love in New York City. I am also expecting an invitation to any wedding that comes out of this show, because I plan on being very vocal on who these people date. The series premieres on Bravo, Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 10 p.m.
