H&M Debuts Their Fall Campaign on...Oh, You Know

by Michelle King

Remember when companies used to premiere their ad campaigns in magazines? Like, on paper? Might as well use the town crier. Alright, so, it was only a few months ago that companies did that, but it feels like centuries ago. More and more companies are releasing their campaigns on Instagram, and the latest one to do so is H&M.

Gisele Bündchen, the face of the H&M Fall campaign, Instagrammed one of the shots, and it's received a casual 31,500 likes in just 23 hours. Releasing campaigns on Instagram has its clear benefits. For one thing, it's far cheaper, but there are other benefits, as well. Instagram gives companies a gauge for how customers are responding to the ad campaigns.

It makes you wonder if we're headed toward Instagram-exclusive ad campaigns. Cue The Jetsons theme song.
