25 Old Photos of 'N Sync That'll Take Fans Back To That Glorious Pre-Breakup Era
In 2001, boy band 'N Sync released third studio album Celebrity. The album name was a bit on the nose, sure, but you'd be nuts to argue with it: After the wild success of No Strings Attached, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and Lance Bass were five of the biggest names in popular culture. (It didn't hurt that one of them happened to be dating the princess of pop.) They were at the top of their game. And they went out on top: Celebrity was certified five times platinum and the last album 'N Sync recorded together. Like Justin promises in "Pop," they brought it 'til the end.
But before the boy band called it quits for good, they won awards, performed at major sporting events, and shared the stage with some of the most iconic musicians of all time. Oh and! They wore amazing shit. My goodness, did they wear some hilarious outfits. Outfits that only super famous pop stars would dare attempt.
