Miley Cyrus Loves Those Pasties

Hear me out, people. I've been on a Miley Cyrus roller coaster lately and I'm not sure how to take it. When I saw the "We Can't Stop" singer posing on the VMAs red carpet in a modest outfit (for her), I was, to put it mildly, surprised. Not because she hasn't worn some cute duds in the past, but because she has a tendency for going against what is deemed typical. She's "Just bein' Miley," I get it. It's cool. I know she's not as risky as Lady Gaga, but that bear leotard wasn't exactly something you'd get off the rack at your local department store. And, that black skirt and crop top she wore to the MTV even this year were, well, sort of typical. For a second I thought we may have lost rique adult Miley, but for Fashion Week, Cyrus got back to her quirkier, edgier, jaw-dropping self.

How so? Well, US Weekly better explains saying, "Miley Cyrus put on quite a show wearing pasties to Alexander Wang's New York Fashion Week afterparty." Yes, pasties. Yes, of course they were bedazzled. Duh. She also rocked, as Us Weekly describes, "pill-covered sunglasses." This outfit seems much more in line with Cyrus's colorful and bizarre Instagram posts as of late, and makes me feel a lot less like she's having a Hannah Montana identity crisis. All is right with the world now, I suppose.
