So when Elle Fanning hit the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie Low Down in a Marchesa gown and Forevermark diamonds, fashion critics and fans alike took a moment to admire the chic results.

Fanning's ethereal, translucent silk dress featured a nude interior layer and a sheer, floral-embroidered overlay which drifted into a slim skirt with a mermaid silhouette.
