Their Red Carpet Style Is Seriously Galactic

by Sienna Fantozzi

Imagine if movie premieres were one big costume party, with red carpet looks reflecting and highlighting the theme of the film. (I think I really would have loved to attend the Willy Wonka premiere if that were the case). Sunday night was the Interstellar premiere in Los Angeles, and though the film's stars weren't in full-on costumes, it looks as though they were seriously inspired by their upcoming flick.

Anne Hathaway, who stars alongside Matthew McConaughey in the space film, looked literally galactic, walking the red carpet wearing a midnight silk Richard Nicoli slip dress with star-motif jewels, including a hand chain bracelet designed by her husband. And the film's other leading lady looked equally flawless. Jessica Chastain's black lace Givenchy couture gown sent us even further into a mind-blowing style orbit — I mean, did you see the plunging back? Her green, Fred Leighton earrings popped the all-black gown, glowing bright like a planet.

And let's not forget about Matthew. Though he was the epitome of polished ruggedness in his maroon and charcoal suit, it was McConaughey's wife, Camila Alves, who shined. Her gunmetal gray dress was sleek and sharp, looking the definition of space-age as it accentuated her curves.
