Taylor Swift Dons Reem Acra for 'Cosmopolitan' UK

by Rosie Narasaki

Taylor Swift is continuing her stealthy (or not so stealthy, rather) play for world domination, isn't she? After making headlines with her super-awesome Pegacorn Halloween costume, wearing the world's coolest sparkly rainbow skirt, and absolutely ruling the radio with new songs from 1989 (I'm obsessed with "Blank Space"), it looks like it's time to play princess once again. Taylor Swift covers Cosmopolitan UK for the December issue, looking every bit the ice queen in her cover story spread.

She dances across the pages in Reem Acra, and basically looks perfect: In one image, she wears a deep lavender flowy chiffon number that looks like something right out of the Aphrodite playbook, and in another, she wears a delicate, crystal-beaded/illusion-netted creation that makes her look like the real life Princess Elsa, a la "Let it Go."

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Reem Acra is kind of the perfect brand for Swift. First off, it's totally perfect for pulling off her whole woodland fairy vibe. And when you really think about it their dresses tend towards the sparkly, chic, and fantasy novel-esque. Honestly, could they get any closer to being the sartorial equivalent of a Pegacorn? Methinks not.
