Lady Gaga is a star. But like, this time, she means it — literally. Lady Gaga wore an inflatable star costume Monday night for the last leg of her ARTPOP tour. It's holographic, it's pointy, and it's definitely one of the craziest things she has ever worn. I know, that's saying something, since Lady Gaga is known for her outrageous fashions, but this is one of the most-out there things she has ever donned, simply for all the logistical questions it poses.
Yes, Gaga, who just got a brand new tattoo in her armpit, has worn raw meat. She has worn even celestial-looking ensembles before. She has been ghost-like. But this concoction is confounding.
How does she sit in this? Well, apparently, the whole getup is inflatable, which helped with getting in and out of a cab. But how does she move in a crowd or get near her Little Monsters once it's all assembled? The ensemble is like a built-in bodyguard, deterring people from getting close to her at risk of their own personal bodily harm.
While her pop cohorts Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry have elected to scale back their outrageous colored wigs and candy-coated costumes, respectively, Gaga isn't joining them in dialing it down when it comes to fashion.

Gaga looks like a glam, silvery insect. Or a star. The outfit has between 20 and 24 points protruding from her person, since you can't tell exactly which are her legs and arms.
This has to be Gaga at her weirdest, but let's not forget that butchered beef frock.
Or the planetary, solar system-y gown from the 2010 Grammys.
Or the starry ensemble she donned at the same event.
Is it too much or totally Gaga? Probably a teeny tiny bit of both.
