24 Rita Ora Hair Moments, Because This Girl's Mane Seriously Can't Be Tamed

Rita Ora turns 24 on November 26, and while she's not even a quarter-century in age, her star is on the ascent. While her music is secondary to her look, Rita Ora's style, her brand endorsements, her film roles (Fifty Shades of Grey, yo!), and her magazine covers remind us that she is super visual artist. Her IG feed is loaded with pics of her fabulous life and fashions, not to mention her ever-changing look. Rita Ora's hair switches styles basically on the daily. Like she's up there with Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Demi Lovato with her cuts, colors, and styles.

Blonde bombshell bob? Yep, she's done that. Rainbow locks? Oh, yeah. That's not uncommon. Ballerina topknots? Often, and with a twist, literally. Pink locks? Elaborate updos? Cascades of waves? The genetically blessed Rita Ora has rocked variations of every one of those looks, and that's why I love her.

Here are Rita Ora's 24 of best hair looks — one for each year she has been alive.

The Blonde Bombshell Waves

Ora was every inch the blonde bombshell with her big waves, which were perfectly complemented by her banging smoky eye makeup.

The Pink Angled Bob

This look is familiar… Katy Perry did the head-hugging pink bob in 2011. Ora rocked the Cali Girl look, with overly bronzed and glowing skin, statement lashes, and pale mod lips. But the cut and color are two of her most fab. Personally, this is my fave Rita Ora hair look ever.

Mermaid Blue

Ora’s long, flowing blue locks were so mermaid like and totally fun.

Michelle Pfeiffer In 'Scarface' Bob With Bangs

Gwen Stefani rocked the Michelle-Pfeiffer-in-Scarface blunt bob with bangs during her second solo album cycle. Ora did her best Stefani x Pfeiffer here. It was her modern version of a beloved look of a cinematic icon.

Tight Topknot

This topknot was severe, but it was artistic, too.

More Marilyn Monroe-Like Locks

Since Ora is rarely seen without her scarlet lips and her defined lashes, she often channels a modern Marilyn Monroe. She did such with her white blonde waves.

The Golden Bob

When styling her buttery blonde bob in this sleek, deep side parted style, Ora offered a grown up glam version of herself.

Farrah Fawcett-Inspired

Ora got the flawless, Farrah Fawcett flip down perfectly here. Even with a hat.

A Natural Shag

Not that kinda shag, but a natural one! This was the woman who portrays Mia Grey at her most low-maintenance, in terms of her hair. But she was still insanely stylish, thanks to the shades.

That Ponytail That Doubled As Bangs

This adventurous pony, with its ends doubling as bangs, was a work of true hair art. It’s not an everyday ‘do, but it was still one to marvel at.

Topknots... Plural

At the Fashion Rocks event, Ora went with multiple topknots. Her hair was once again artistic. She has proven to be more of a hair risk taker than Rihanna, to whom she is often compared with her style and sound. Some have even called her “Rih-ta.” That said, Ora’s hair game is her own.

Faux Hawk...With A Braid And A Shaved Side?!

Leave it to the “How We Do” singer and her stylist to turn a faux hawk, which is already an inherently cool coif, into something else, with both a braid and a shaved side. I dunno how they did this, but I’m gawking.

Chin-Length Messy Bob

Ora has a predilection for the bob, but this chin-length, textured version suited her face shape.

Who Needs A Pearl Necklace?

Pearls are usually for your neck or your ears. With Rita Ora, they are for hair.

Half-Up, Half-Down, Like Ariana Grande

Isn’t this slicked back, half-up, half-down, and layered ‘do similar to Ariana Grande’s secretive ponytail? The big difference is that Ari never ditches hers and Rita rarely repeats a look! Perhaps Ari can start cribbing from the Rita Ora Hair Playbook?

Colorful Cornrows

Urban chic is definitely part of Rita Ora’s fashion narrative and her colorful cornrows were indicative of that.

White Hot

Rita was one of the first to hop on the gray hair trend. Even though she was rocking a fur shrug of sorts, the white tips didn’t come off as granny-ish.

Dip Dye

Blonde is Ora’s most familiar hue but it looked extra amazing with pink dip-dyed ends.

Sleek And Stick Straight

The ex of Calvin Harris doesn’t often do stick straight and sleek, but when she does, she is aces

Are Those Antennae?

Miss Rita Ora could communicate with life on other planets with her double topknots. She was cute as a bunhead.

Fringed Pony

This fringed, high pony was so, so youthful. This is such a good look for when she performs, since it keeps her locks outta her pretty face and mouth, which she, you know, needs to sing.

Madonna-Like Pony

The braid-wrapped pony reminded me of Madonna of yore, during her cone brassiere phase. Ora also noted that in her caption. Even when pulled tight and severe, her ponies are sexy and chic.

Bedazzled Finger Waves

Here’s another example of the singer and actress and her stylist mixing and matching, pairing finger waves with bedazzling and a pony of multi-colored strands. It’s a multi-hyphenate ‘do that doesn’t sound good on paper, but the execution is next level.
