If his recent posts on social media sites are any indication, Justin Timberlake is prepping to make everyone's Thursday pretty wonderful. On Instagram and Twitter, Timberlake has been dropping a ton of hints that he's prepping to release a new single at some point today. And, by hints, I mean he pretty much outright said it, posted a picture from the music video, and then posted an Instagram video snippet of the song itself. So, based off all that, I'd say it's pretty safe to assume a new single is, at the very least, on its way.
It's not clear what the song's name actually is, but what's audible of the lyrics seems to be the line "Can't fight no more/ you knock me out." So, you know, take that for what it's worth — you knock Justin Timberlake out, and now he's singing a song about it, crying a river, etc.
In all seriousness, though, the song sounds promising — and it's exciting to see that the pop star is definitely moving forward with his plans for a part two to his 20/20 Experience album, because after waiting seven years for a new album, we deserve at least two.
