Congrats are in order for this former American Pie star! Chris Klein is engaged to Laine Rose Thyfault, People exclusively reports. Klein's rep, Jaime Primak Sullivan (known for her Jersey Belle show on Bravo) confirmed that the actor popped the question in Venice Beach over the weekend. The two seem to be over the moon and looking forward to the holidays even more so. His rep said,
Chris and Laina are very happy and look forward to celebrating their engagement over the holidays.
Klein and Thyfault first started dating a little over three years ago after meeting at a friend's wedding. Ever since then, they've been inseparable and keeping their relationship on the down-low. Klein couldn't help but express his excitement on Twitter and said, "Super stoked to share with y'all our good vibes. Laina and I wish y'all a very happy Holiday Season."
Per Us Weekly, the two are interested in rushing their nuptials and not having a long engagement. According to a "pal" of Klein's, they're looking at a summer 2015 wedding.
With all of that said and done, we're all left wondering just who Klein's fiancée is. Unlike his past fiancée Katie Holmes (remember that?!), Thyfault seems to stay out of the spotlight, for the most part, which can be extremely hard to do when you're dating a celebrity.
According to IMBb, she knows all about casting and is a casting associate. She's worked on two TV shows, including Hell's Kitchen and For the Love of Ray J.
Other than that, Thyfault remains a mystery, which isn't a terrible thing. When you're constantly in front of the cameras, like Klein, there's no harm in keeping your relationship somewhat private.
