Khloe Gets Kandid About Her Love Life

At age 30, Khloe Kardashian isn't exactly where she imagined she'd be at this point in her life. No, I'm not talking about starring on reality TV (although she probably didn't predict that either), I'm referring to her relationships. As Khloe explains to Cosmopolitan U.K., she originally expected to start a family by now. That hasn't happened yet, but instead of sitting around and moping, she's moving forward. In the magazine interview, Khloe Kardashian gets candid about her love life and relationship expectations.

By the time I hit that age I thought I would have kids and still be married. But because that's not the way it went, you can't sit in a ball and cry. I had a husband, so I think there's an adjustment period, which I don't want to rush. Dating is so weird.

Couldn't agree more that dating is so weird! But it's awesome that she's not rushing into anything or crying, just because her life didn't go according to plan. Further showing her optimism, Kardashian addressed what she learned from her previous marriage to Lamar Odom.

When I first got married some of my girlfriends said, 'You never have to work now — you married a basketball player.' But I don't care if you marry someone who works at the grocery store or someone who is a director of a company, everyone should have their own identity. It's not about numbers.

Bravo to Khloe for not letting her identity rely solely on a man's success. So important!

As far as what she's looking for now, Khloe really just wants someone to cuddle with. (Don't we all?!) She explains,

I don't crave sex. I talked about it more openly when I was married because it's more comfortable. I crave companionship — I just want to cuddle. I got married at 25 — I was young, but I loved it. I do like it when you save certain things for your marriage. I don't think you should treat every guy you're dating like your husband. It doesn't make it special.

Despite all of the ups and downs we witnessed on KUWTK, it's great that she can still look back on marriage fondly, despite the fact that it ended in divorce. Basically, she has an all-around amazing attitude.

While her on-again, off-again relationship with French Montana is quite confusing, there's one guy that's a constant in her life... her brother Rob.

I'm happy. I moved into my new house, which is the first time I've owned a home on my own. It's a big step and my brother lives with me — I'm so happy about that.

Happy to hear she's happy and moving forward. That's perfect, especially for heading into the new year! Plus, buying her own house proves she's an independent woman. Now cue the Destiny's Child soundtrack.
