'New Girl' Understands Your New Year's Party Woes

I think we can all agree that there's nothing quite like a New Year's Eve party. Because just like how Christmas is the time to spend with family, New Year's is the time to spend with friends — usually while consuming vast amounts of alcohol and carbs that you vow to work off in the coming year. (I swear, the diet starts tomorrow, you guys!) However, like anything else, with great partying comes great responsibility, and nothing can prove to be a bigger emotional roller coaster ride more so than a New Year's Eve bash. There will be regrets. There will be numerous hangovers. But it'll also be a night you won't soon forget (even if you want to).

With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to try and navigate this potentially dangerous terrain ahead of time, so you know just what you're in for right up until the moment that ball drops at midnight. So without further adieu, I present to you the many different emotional stages experienced at almost every New Year's Eve party you'll ever go to. And, as an added bonus, it's explained entirely by the cast of New Girl . Because why the heck not? (You're welcome.)
