Hair Flowers That Will Bring a Hint of June to Your January — Because Who's Tired of Winter Already?

Hands up: Who else is tired of winter already? Sure, winter has its appeal — the idea of curling up under the blankets with a steaming mug of cocoa and a good winter book is a comforting thought. But the reality for most of us is that we still have to go out and brave the elements every day. For many, the short daylight hours can be a real struggle, and we begin counting down the moments until spring arrives, bringing with it more sunlight, color and a better mood in general. Not to mention, brighter floral apparel and accessories.

I am one such person. For me, winter means grey skies, dark days, way too much rain and not nearly enough snow for my liking (snow being the one thing that I find makes the season a little more bearable). I find winter a challenging time in many ways, but the lack of color in particular is something that truly bothers me. Winter is like the opening scenes in The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy is still in Kansas, and the world is in black and white. Summer only begins when she arrives in Oz and becomes saturated with every hue imaginable.

It is for this reason that I take extra effort to inject as much color as possible into my winter wardrobe, and while it can be tricky to find clothes that are up to the challenge, one accessory is guaranteed to perform every time: hair flower accessories.

Adding a flower or two to my hair makes me feel instantly brighter and more cheerful, and the effect can be contagious. If you want to add a touch of summer to your life this winter, here are some gorgeous flowers to help you do just that.
