At The 46th annual NAACP Image Awards in Pasadena, California last night, the glamorous ladies of TV and Film came out in droves to celebrate people of color in the arts. They also wore the crap out of some pretty dresses. Kerry Washington rocked a boudoir-y crimson slipdress that made me actually look forward to V-Day. Gabrielle Union killed it a cutout down that may have been made of scuba textiles. Uzo Aduba, my queen, looked glamorous as per uje. Gotta love that subtle embroidery that almost camouflages itself into Aduba’s dress. Also, Charles James reference?

I would like to think that Union’s funky dress is made of Neoprene, considering the apparent way it’s falling, but I’m not 100 percent sure. However, if it WAS a scuba gown, I would heartily approve.
