Pink Strips Down To Nothing For PETA

by May Sofi

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is the organization responsible for getting high-profile celebrities to pose completely nude to raise awareness against wearing fur. Some of the famous faces that have joined the naked movement include Khloe Kardashian, Olivia Munn, and Eva Mendes, who have all stripped down to their birthday suits in ads that read "I'd rather go naked than wear fur." The campaign has garnered so much attention that it seems celebrities are lining up to strip down in support of their furry friends. Pink is the latest celebrity to pose naked for PETA, and she looks totally classy and beautiful despite her lack of clothing.

The tattoo-covered musician is seen crouched down with knees pulled into her chest, successfully covering up all of her lady bits. Her facial expression reads an innocent slightly shy smile, which gives the black & white photo an adorably playful vibe. One can definitely see why Pink would "rather go naked than wear fur!" The add also reads, "be comfortable in your own skin, and let animals keep theirs."

This is a great example of how nudity can be utilized for a good cause (and in a non-sexualized way). It's so refreshing to see celebrities using their bare bods for something other than raunchy self-promotion (I'm talking to you Kim Kardashian). If done right, naked skin can actually look elegant, especially when it makes sense for the issue at hand such as this one.

Here is the gorgeous billboard which will be featured in NYC's Times Square.
