On Wednesday night in NYC, supermodels, celebrities and activists alike came out to celebrate the 2015 AmfAR Gala, which strives to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS. The star-studded black-tie affair serves as the kickoff for New York Fashion Week, which begins on Thursday, and brings out the crème de la crème in high fashion. A-listers such as Anna Wintour, Coco Rocha, Naomi Campbell, Kendall Jenner, and Karlie Kloss were only some of the attendees, and each stunned in their own ensemble as they walked down the red carpet.
The annual AmfAR Gala is one that I most look forward to, because it generates more wow-worthy elegant looks than almost any other event of its kind. Some recurring trends that were seen throughout the carpet included crimson red hues, worn by Coco Rocha and Kendall Jenner, one shoulder styles seen on Karlie Kloss and Naomi Campbell, and tons of sparkle sparkle sparkle. The event was dripping with diamonds as all the girls were adorned in magnificent jewels fit for royalty.
