Guess What Daughter Hailie Is Up To

Eminem for father of the year! Just kidding, I wouldn't take it that far. But the real Slim Shady must be doing at least something right, because his 17-year old daughter, Hailie Scott, was chosen as Homecoming Queen this weekend at Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan. Obviously the first reaction is — how the hell is Eminem's daughter 17 already? But moving on.

Apparently, Eminem and Hailie's mom, his ex-wife Kim Scott, were both at the crowning ceremony — Scott walked Hailie out on the football field while Marshall Mathers III watched from a classroom nearby. (Hey, he's still a pretty famous dude — give him his privacy).

Just goes to show that celebrities — they're just like us. But really, can you believe Eminem's daughter is almost a legal adult? Does this make anyone else feel incredibly old? Here's a photo from Twitter from TV of the mini m&m:

As for what Eminem's been up to lately: he released his single "Berserk" earlier this fall, and his new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, is due to drop on Nov. 5. Another little tidbit to make you feel ancient — this is Eminem's eighth full album, but it feels like just yesterday we were inappropriately rapping along to the lyrics of "My Name Is."
