Matt & Ben Have a New Joint Project

by Alanna Bennett

There's this .gif that floats around my Tumblr dash all the time. It's of Sirius Black in the third Harry Potter movie, and it's from a scene where he's hysterical, screaming "I did my waiting! Twelve years of it! In Azkaban!" It is often used when things are a long time coming. Which is why I thought of it when I saw this news: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are working together again.

Don't get too excited: They have no plans as of yet to appear on-screen together in More Time With the Family, their comedy that was recently snatched up by CBS for production, but they will be serving as the executive producers of it. It stars comedian Tom Papa and was written by Cathy Yuspa and Josh Goldsmith.

Here's how Deadline described it:

More Time With Family, centers on a guy (Papa) who changes his career and gives up a life on the road to spend more time at home with his family — but when he gets there, he realizes no one asked him to do that.

The idea for the show sprang up when Papa and Damon worked together on Behind the Candelabra.

Honestly, we don't care what it's about as long as we get pictures of Damon and Affleck hugging/generally bonding behind the scenes.
