Gigi Hadid's Quest For World Domination Continues

by Arielle Dachille

Much in the same way that Kendall Jenner-spotting works, finding Gigi Hadid on the various fashion week runways has become somewhat of a sport. The reality TV daughter/ incumbent supreme supermodel sashayed down the runway Emilio Pucci, closed this season's Moschino show, and this morning Gigi Hadid walked in Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2015 show. I'm sure Yolanda Foster got a little misty-eyed at her performance.

After all, it was a mother-themed show. How could she not get a little verklempt? Sadly, Hadid wasn't one of the charmed models elected to hold an infant at the Italian fashion duo's Milan show (ICYMI, babies were featured as this season's must-have accessories in this collection). But let's be real: she was probably relieved at not having to multitask stomping the catwalk with carrying a child.

Beyond the prettily-disaffected model expression, it seemed like she was having a great time. She snapped some backstage pics with Karlie Kloss. Wearing a red-and-black ruched sheath dress reminiscent of post-WWII Italian glamour, she strutted down the aisle like a seasoned pro. When the models all hit the stage for their final walk, you could see Hadid smiling reverently at her surroundings in a way that says "I'm gonna make it after all." Cue the Mary Tyler Moore theme song!

Goofing off with your fellow famous models just puts a girl in a great mood.

Even if the apathetic expression is a model's purview, she couldn't help but crack a smile during the final walk.

Sometimes, breaking character is worth it.
