8 Fantastic Fashion Brands You're Not Wearing

There's something to be said for brand loyalty in fashion, yes. But are so many labels out there — brands that don't have an outlet in every shopping center, some that are sold exclusively online, and those that are way funkier than anything you could find at Gap. Just because they're less popular doesn't mean they're necessarily less awesome. Here, eight brands that may not have crossed your radar yet. And, if you have some stores you think I should know about, tell me!

And, if you have some stores you think I should know about, tell me!

eShakti

This brand offers super-customizable garments, so you can accommodate whatever your unique shape or size is, and even choose your sleeve style. Opt to buy the outfits as they come, or pick customization, which is a mere $7.50 extra. Worth it.

Callixto

This jewelry brand sells finds from the far corners of the earth. The prices come in a wide range, and all the jewelry is colorful and exotic.

Shabby Apple

Shabby Apple is like the opposite of Nasty Gal. The woman-owned company offers a lot of cheap clothes, but the style is a bit more modest and vintage-inspired, with lots of color and girliness.

Sophia Clothing

Just in time for fall, Sophia Clothing (an Etsy shop) has a ton of great custom-made wool coats with unusual, but still super-wearable, silhouettes. There are also lots of equally unique dresses.

Wild Fang

Few of us want to look girly all the time. Wild Fang makes cool clothes "for tomboys" that aren't traditionally feminine, but still designed for women's bodies.

Ruche

Ruche has a pretty decent following, but I barely hear people talking about them. They're an online-only boutique that is basically a not-overpriced Anthropologie. They also carry a ton of their cute clothes in plus sizes.

Irregular Choice

This British brand sells shoes that are... irregular. They occasionally sell shoes through ModCloth, but if you want to shop their full collection of funky (though sometimes tacky) shoes, you can visit their super-'90s website. They ship worldwide.

Romwe

This brand sells "street fashion", which means a lot of things. Most importantly, they have really dope sweatshirts.
