Do You Want a Book With That?

Look out Amazon.com, McDonald's is getting in the books business. Sort of. The company announced that for two weeks in November, McDonald's will be handing out books in their Happy Meals instead of toys. But before you get excited about possible free copies of Good Night Moon (or if you're like me, worry about the poor books getting contaminated by hamburger grease), it should be noted that these will be books McDonald's publishes themselves.

So what does the world think about this? Well, way back in January when McDonald's tried something similar in the U.K., our friends across the Atlantic created the Twitter hashtag "#McBooks," and now the U.S. is getting in on the fun. Here are our favorites:
