A 'Flash' & 'TVD' Crossover Needs To Happen ASAP

There's almost nothing better than sitting down and watching one of your favorite CW shows. But what if I were to tell you that there's a way to combine two of your most beloved shows into one fantastic episode? Soon, avid superhero fans will be treated to yet another Arrow and The Flash crossover, which will find Ray and Felicity smack dab in the heart of Central City chaos. And while that by itself is an extremely exciting prospect, I can't help but wonder what it would be like if another series from The CW franchise was brought into the mix. For example, let's say The Flash and The Vampire Diaries were to do a crossover episode. What would something like that even look like?

Now I know what you're probably thinking here. It wouldn't make logical sense for these two supernatural worlds to collide on our small screens. But let's throw those silly things like sense and reason out the window for a little bit and just envision how something like this would actually play out. Because, the way I see it, this would prove to produce some pretty glorious results — to the point of where I absolutely want/need this to happen ASAP.

There Would Be Supernatural Showdowns

Barry Allen may be the fastest human in the world, but is he faster than even a vampire? Would being a metahuman prevent him from being compelled? (These are the types of questions that keep me up at night.) A TVD and Flash crossover would be the perfect opportunity to get to the bottom of such scintillating questions. Plus, I'm always up for a good workout scene among hot actors. Just saying.

Our 'Shipping Possibilities Would Increase Tenfold

If you thought choosing between a certain 'ship was hard enough on just one show, imagine what it would be like if we opened the floor up to crossover romances. Barry and Caroline? Stefan and Caitlin? Bonnie and Cisco? I'm not going to lie, I'd be pretty into it.

Stefan & Barry Would Be BFFs

Damon has Alaric and Enzo, but Stefan's really never had a good bromance on TVD aside from his actual brother. Barry's presence could change all that and showcase some very heartwarming bonding sessions with our red speedster. I mean, they are both extremely kind and selfless. Plus, Stefan knows all about not being a girl's No. 1 choice (sorry Stelena fans). So as long as he's not going through a Ripper or humanity-less phrase, these two would become fast friends.

Damon Would Uncover Harrison Wells' Secrets

Damon may be more in touch with his good side these days, but that doesn't mean this bad boy vamp wouldn't be able to get to the bottom of this scientist's devious plans. Not to mention, it would be great to see these two formidable characters go head-to-head.

The Dearly Departed Could Return

With Barry's ability to time jump, it could open up a whole new realm of possibilities regarding the characters we've tragically lost on TVD throughout the years. We could see Sheriff Forbes again. We could get Aunt Jenna back! Seriously, that prospect in and of itself makes this whole idea more than worth it.

Barry Would Learn To Go Shirtless

You'd think that after spending so much time with Oliver Queen this little habit would rub off on him, but alas. If Barry were to spend some quality time in Mystic Falls, though, I guarantee he'd finally get with the program. It's kind of a mandatory thing in that town.
