Gigi Hadid Wears Culottes Perfectly

Gigi Hadid can do no wrong in my eyes. The 19-year-old supermodel is dominating the fashion scene, landing high profile gigs and earning the title of muse for several major designers. Gigi Hadid wore culottes to the Samsung Galaxy launch event in New York, demonstrating to us all how to properly wear this weird-but-trendy style. Always at the forefront of new and emerging trends, the blonde bombshell is consistently applauded for her impeccable style, and her latest outfit shows us that all the acclaim is well-deserved.

Hadid sported a royal blue mid-waisted pair that definitely took front and center in the ensemble. Aside from the gorgeous color, which is a perfect segue into spring, the fit is tailored to perfection, which I think is really important for this particular style. She paired the knee-length trousers with a crisp white, collared tee and nude point-toe pumps and topped off the look with sleek straight locks and soft makeup — talk about minimalistic chic.

I've always been really confused by culottes. Are they wide-leg pants? Are they trying to be a loose midi skirt? IDGI. Needless to say, I have been quite apprehensive about trying them. But in a strange way, I find them kind of cool-looking, and am now reconsidering giving them a go (partially thanks to Gigi).
