Does A Cheater Deserve This Revenge?

by Sara Levine

Being cheated on sucks, to put it mildly, and if you found out your partner was unfaithful, it's certainly not unreasonable to want to enact revenge on them for the pain they caused you. Which I can assume is why one woman posted a video in bed with another guy after she found out her boyfriend had cheated on her, and it's going viral. I guess revenge really is a dish best served cold, cause this is about as cold as it gets.

Taking a picture or video of yourself after sex and then documenting it publicly via social media isn't exactly a new phenomenon (remember the #aftersex selfie trend on Instagram?). However, this is a whole new level of "things that probably shouldn't be posted on the Internet" because, as we all know — and as I sound like a broken record constantly repeating — the Internet is forever. Or, at least, until the overlords at Apple, Google, and Facebook come up with an even more advanced technology and render the Internet obsolete. But anyway, what I'm trying to say is that while it might seem like a good idea in the moment to post an after-sex video where you kind of brag about getting back at your cheating SO by cheating right back, when you calm down a bit you might realize that maybe this wasn't the best idea. Like, I don't really see this having a positive impact on the unnamed girl's future love life, to say the least, especially not now that the video has gone viral. Also, whatever happened to "two wrongs don't make a right?"

Personally, I think there are better ways out there to get revenge on a scumbag S.O. that don't make you look equally scummy in the process, like becoming super rich and successful to make him regret taking you for granted, or writing a not-so-subtle hit song about his skeezy ways. It's definitely playing the long game, but you can't rush perfection, you know?

Watch the video below, and judge for yourself:

I sure hope the "post-cheating selfie" doesn't become a trend. Also, don't even get me started on the "I took your bitch" thing.
