In a crimson dress adorned with — what else? — poppies, the British beauty jokingly told the press her ensemble was inspired by opium. And indeed, Delevingne's gown was fairly intoxicating, from its blooming bodice to its delicate beading and full skirt. Marchesa's designs are notoriously lavish and heavily ornamental, but Delevingne's number was simultaneously feminine and ethereal. The gown's diaphanous skirt balanced the bodice's ornate detailing for a truly standout look.

The model and socialite maintained focus on her dramatic gown by keeping her coiffure and makeup minimal. A simple ballerina bun, bronzed cheekbones, and a barely-there smokey eye left the theatrics to Delevingne's gown, which the model accented with a glittering gilded clutch and minimal jewelry.
