I knew turmeric powder did wonders for the skin, but only recently did I learn that turmeric can white your teeth as well. Turmeric powder is an spice filled with anti-oxidents and anti-bacterials that work to brighten and whiten. Dip your damp toothbrush into a small bit of the powder and brush your teeth. Instead of rinsing, let the powder sit on your teeth for five minutes. Afterwords, brush with regular toothpaste as usual. Doing this a few times a week is a perfect way to get those pearly whites.

3. Activated Charcoal

Remember in The Patriot, when Heath Ledger has black stained teeth? Well, that's what this treatment looks like. Dip a wet toothbrush into the powder and get to scrubbing. Follow up with regular toothpaste. The reason this system works is that activated charcoal is processed with oxygen and zinc which whites your teeth by removing toxins. This magic powder basically pulls the stains off of your teeth.
