Will Kim and Kanye Have a Boy Or Girl?

by Kate Ward

For once, we know so little about Kim Kardashian. Or, at least, Kim Kardashian's second child, that is. At the end of the mid-season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kardashian revealed she was pregnant. But, of course, the news was announced in a teaser, which means we learned less about Kardashian and Kanye West's second child than we have learned about what Brody Jenner is up to while his siblings continue to out-fame him. For example, what will Kim name the child? How much of Kim's pregnancy will we watch on Keeping Up With the Kardashians? And, since this is the bait-and-switch world of reality TV, does the teaser actually mean that Kim is pregnant at all? (No, she wouldn't do that to us... would she?) But of course, the biggest question of all might be, will Kim have a baby boy or a baby girl?

Of course, since all we know so far is that Kardashian has vocalized the words "I'm pregnant," and those words were immortalized on E!, it's tough to say what the gender of America's Royal Baby No. 2 will actually be. Well, I should say, that's tough to say unless you're a tabloid. After all, Life & Style already reported that Kardashian was pregnant with a boy. (According to the tabloid's source, the struggle to conceive ended up being much easier in the end than Kardashian's early attempts to get pregnant. Said the source, “Kim stopped stressing and obsessing about it, and then — bam!")

And, according to another tabloid, The Mirror, that would come as good news for Kardashian's husband, Kanye West. The outlet reports that an inside source claimed that West wanted a boy after the birth of the couple's first child, daughter North West.

Then again, none of this is from the mouths of the couple themselves, so it's anyone's guess as to what will happen come the baby's due date, which, according to some crafty counters on the Internet, could be late fall. And when did the Kardashians not value a good plot twist? After all, if we judge by the Kardashian clan — Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, Kendall, Kylie, and Rob — it's the ladies who always end up ruling over E!'s Royal Family.
