Chris Pratt Is Coming To 'Billy On The Street'

by Emily Lackey

This just in: the man of the hour, of British accent and dinosaur slaying fame, the man also known as Chris Pratt is going to be on Billy on the Street during the show's fourth season. Since Pratt has been making his rounds as resident funny guy for the Jurassic World publicity tour, I can’t think of anyone else I’d rather have yell stuff at me on the street. We’re talking about a guy who can break into random song, who travels with an action figure version of himself, and who admits to faking his way through acting in his new movie. Really, there is no one better for Billy to take around the streets of New York and have yell at random people walking by.

The collaboration is not the first for Eichner and Pratt, who both starred in Parks and Recreation together on NBC. But Chris Pratt will be in Billy Eichner’s world for the first time, and I can’t wait to see how he handles it. In case you haven’t seen it before, Eichner’s show puts celebrities on the street and has them interact with random New Yorkers. It’s usually pretty hysterical, and past seasons have included some comedy greats like Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, and David Letterman. But Chris Pratt may just prove to be his most hilarious guest yet.

What sorts of things will he say? What will he do? And what will he shout at random passersby on the street? I have a few guesses at what he might do, but you can be sure that, whatever happens, Chris Pratt’s episode of Billy on the Street is going to be epic.

1. “I’m not a dinosaur, I’m Chris Pratt”

Sure, this might be a little played out with Amy Poehler’s “It’s not a pitbull, it’s Amy Poehler,” but that was so funny that I want to see it over and over again.

2. “We built this city on rock and roll.

OK, so I secretly want Pratt’s episode to be “Let Chris Pratt Serenade You.” I can’t hide it anymore. But with musical chops like his, who can blame me?

3. “I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I’M DOING.”

Both to relieve that awesome Parks and Rec moment, and because who does know what they’re doing on Billy on the Street?

4. “I love my wife!”

Because he does, and it’s so sweet.

5. “Hold onto your butts.”

Please let it be an homage to Jurassic Park. Please?

6. “Everything hurts. Running is impossible.”

Because running around the streets of New York is exhausting.

7. “Damn, girl!”

I mean, who doesn’t want Chris Pratt coming up to them and telling them that they're gorgeous?
