How To Have Hotter Sex, According To Porn Stars

by Aly Walansky

Somewhere deep down, we know that porn isn't real life. We know that we can watch and enjoy it, but we can't necessarily expect the pizza guy to bend us over the coffee table. That said, porn sex looks so damn hot. And who doesn't like hot sex? So maybe there are some things we can learn from the professionals about how to have better sex.

"We are exposing ourselves to having contact with people that we don't really know or would get involved with in our personal lives, so we may not be 100 percent comfortable doing stuff with them right away," says Jillian Janson, an award-nominated adult actress. "What I like to do is get to know them and build a little chemistry before, so it's not as awkward when the camera starts rolling — whether I simply flirt, make them want to tackle me as soon as the camera starts rolling, or go straight to the point by getting him hard. Usually, like in most scenarios, a first impression is key; especially in this business, since we have to stay horny all day together on set. After so much time of personal and physical contact, you're bound to make each other pleased at the end with multiple orgasms!" says Janson.

Sex can be a wonderful thing, but sometimes, people aren't open to trying new things, positions, and locations. Give it a try, and see what the outcome looks like, says Janson. "I think everyone's main objective in life should be to please yourself while at the same time you're pleasing everyone else!"

1. Don't Fake It

"Gone are the over-the-top fake screaming and fake orgasming porn stars. Now, a girl who is quiet but real gets the job. She may learn to embellish her real reactions, but they usually come from a real place, and certainly she knows they should," says John Stagliano, an adult actor, producer, and director who founded and owns the Evil Angel adult movie company.

2. Don't Worry About Being Judged

"Just let go. Express yourself artistically with your mouth, your hands — every inch of your body," says adult actress and producer Kelly Madison. "Don’t worry about being judged or feeling self-conscious. Know that you are turning your mate on more at that moment then anyone else in the world."

3. Do What Feels Good

"Oftentimes as performers, we are asked what our favorite position is. So embrace what feels best for you in bed, and do it over and over and over again. You are performing not only for your mate — or in our case, our audience — but also various acts that truly get us off. If we aren’t feeling it, well, nobody is. And that isn’t fun for anyone!" says Madison.

4. Try Something New

"Be willing to try new things — porn performers, especially new ones, get asked all the time to try things they haven't tried before. Certain role plays, group sex, new fetishes — there were a million new things waiting for me when I got into porn. I kept an open mind, and realized I was into things I never thought of doing before. So of course, while it's always OK to say no, the next time your partner suggests something different, give it a shot. You never know what might be fun!" says actress Casey Calvert.

5. Explore New Sensations

"Having sex like a porn star is merely going further, releasing into the moment, exploring new sensations. Watch a video and learn new and wonderful things to do in bed. For sure, not everybody is going to like everything. We will always pick and choose based on our personal inclinations and physical abilities. But the horizons have expanded," says Stagliano.
