This is the World's Longest Pizza

Here's some news that's bound to make you ecstatic and despondent at the same time: the world's longest pizza was made in Milan over the weekend, and none of us were there to eat it or bask in its glory. The pizza was made at the Milan Expo 2015's World Fair, with help from over 60 different pizza makers. And the best/worst part? The pizza was free for people attending the fair. FREE. If I had known this was happening, I would have absolutely bought a multiple-hundred-dollar plane ticket across the world so I could sample some free, history-making pizza.

According to the Associated Press, the pizza used 1.5 tons of mozzarella cheese and two tons of tomato sauce, weighing a total of five tons. Measuring in at 1.59545 kilometers, it officially broke the Guinness World Record for World's Longest Pizza. The Guinness representative actually walked the full length of the pie, which is probably a good way to burn off the calories you're about to consume in pizza.

I know what you're thinking, because I'm thinking it, too: Now that we have a record for the world's longest pizza, what about the record for the largest pizza puff? I'm sad to say that from my research, it looks like the only time this record was attempted was in that episode of Hey Arnold! Wait, now I have an idea....

This isn't the first time pizza chefs have tried to push the boundaries, though. Size isn't the only factor that goes into making an epic pizza. Just ask the creators of these insane pizzas, and try not to drool all over your keyboard.

1. The Grilled Cheese Stuffed Crust Pizza

Otherwise known (by me) as the Grilled Cheezza. This beauty combines everything you love: cheese, and more cheese. I actually made this for a Superbowl party a few months back, and it tasted as great as it looks.

2. Pizza Hut's Mini Hot Dog Pizza

Thanks to Pizza Hut's newest creation, you'll never have to decide between ordering pizza or a hot dog again. The inevitable heart attack will most definitely be worth it.

3. Pizza Hut's Four N' Twenty Pie

Leave it to Pizza Hut to (once again) do something strange and ridiculous. For this monstrosity, they took a pizza and stuffed the crust with Four N' Twenties, which are a type of Australian meat pie. You can only try this pie in Australia, which honestly I think is a good thing.

4. The Inception Pizza

You've probably seen the infamous pizza topped with mini pizzas, but there's no way I would have ever left it off this list. Honestly, combining pizza with more pizza is so genius I'm almost angry I didn't think of it first.

5. Sushi Pizza

I love sushi, and I love pizza, but I'm not sure these are two things that should ever have been brought together. Regardless, sushi pizza is a thing that exists, so I guess we're all going to have to deal with it.
