This Elsa Is Literally An Edible Pancake

Fun fact, people of the internet: Today is "Let It Go" Day, otherwise known as Queen Elsa of Arendelle's unofficial birthday. Sure, the holiday has existed a lot longer than Frozen has, but I like to think that the very idea of Elsa was so present in our hearts that we gave her a special holiday before she even existed. And to celebrate accordingly, you can attempt to make your own Elsa pancake art in her honor. Or, at the very least, you can watch pancake-slinging pro TigerTomatoes make bring Elsa to life in breakfast form.

Maybe you're feeling reluctant to give this a try, but hey, there's no time like the present. According to DaysOfTheYear.com, "Let It Go" Day is "a national day when you know you are not in taking the brave step to cast away all those hang-ups from a previous chapter in your life." So push all of your artistic doubts aside, and if you do screw this up royally, take comfort in the fact that you can brag to your friends that you made the Picasso version of Elsa (and also, that you will still have a delicious pancake).

Here is some insight on the process, to bring yourself up to speed:

First, stencil out all the features with a teeny tiny pancake batter dropper

A less classy method I can recommend is snipping an itty bitty hole into a Ziploc bag and hoping for the best.

Then be insanely good at art

At least when you try to recreate it there won't be any awkward guesswork.

And finally, ~shazam~

When I am rich and famous I will eat exclusively Frozen pancake art for the rest of my breakfasts until I die.

Here's the full video of the process:

And just in case that isn't enough pancake for you to get your "Let It Go" day on, then you can also belatedly celebrate summer solstice with our favorite snowman:

You can check out the rest of TigerTomato's creations here. In the meantime, I'll be busy belting in an ice castle somewhere to properly recognize this momentous occasion.
