The New 'Big Brother 17' Twist Is Causing Tension

After the first two Big Brother competitions, two houseguests were left having not participated. But, Vanessa and Da'Vonne were told they would be given a reward in return for their willingness to skip being HOH for the week. And, like with all Big Brother twists, there was good news and bad news. Vanessa and Da'Vonne were awarded the BB Fast Forward on Big Brother which allowed them to essentially skip to the next week. They can't be nominated or evicted this week. But, they were told they could also bring one person each with them, and, of course, that created tension.

So much for the alliance Da'Vonne started with the first group of ladies on the first night. She skipped right over her supposed teammates and chose to save Liz. (The alleged twin lives to play another day!) But, while Da'Vonne hurt some feelings within her first alliance, her choice made sense. Liz promised she'd save Da'Vonne if she ever won HOH. Let's just hope her supposed twin sticks to that plan!

Meanwhile, Vanessa picked Austin, which is a pretty strategic move considering he's got the physical prowess to win challenges. The two decisions may not have made them popular amongst the rest of the house, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. And, they don't have to face the consequences of their decision process for another week. For now, they can sit back and watch everyone else scheme and plot without lifting a finger.
