Obama's Most Hilarious Jokes On 'The Daily Show'

It's the end of two eras: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is in its final weeks, and President Obama's second and final term as president are coming to a close. On Tuesday night, Stewart's final interview with Obama went down, and neither of them held back a thing when they were cracking jokes. The interview was hilarious. Stewart is a favorite of mine, and never fails to crack me up, and I'm always delighted to see politicians cut loose and let their comedic side show. Obama did exactly this on Thursday, and it was so much fun to watch him and Stewart play off of one another. In fact, some of Obama's best jokes on The Daily Show were about Stewart himself.

Of course, there was some seriousness to the interview as well. Not one to let anyone off the hook for their work in Washington, Stewart also leveraged some criticisms against the president (chiefly Obama's failure on a promise to improve benefits for veterans), and Obama had to answer for that as well. Overall, though, the interview was more or less a love-fest, and many excellent jokes were made by both host and interviewee. Here's a list of some of the best lines that came from the president during his last Daily Show interview.

Being in Chicago, I can tell you the president was probably being serious. The Bears kinda suck these days.

Overall this interview was an excellent farewell from a comedic genius about to exit the small screen to a president who has eighteen months left in office. The pair was able to cover a range of topics that are important to the American public, but also enjoy the magic of Stewart's perfect comic timing. It was a great interview from the president, and I am sure will be thought of as one of the better of Stewart's final episodes.
