At-home beauty devices are a great way to save on your favorite in-office treatments, or even to test out something new. But they don’t come without an initial investment of their own. That’s why BeautyBio’s two-week Amazon sale is not to be missed. From February 4 to February 18, the brand is offering 30% off on its GloPRO Microneedling Tool, a handheld device that has won multiple beauty awards. The easy-to-use tool, which comprises hundreds of super-tiny needles that target superficial scars, enlarged pores, and wrinkles, was designed to mimic an in-office microneedling treatment. Without getting too science-y, the process works to stimulate collagen production by creating tiny wounds as you roll the needles over your skin (don’t worry, the needles are so thin that they don’t hurt!).

As part of its 30% off sale, BeautyBio’s GloPRO device not only includes the usual attachment head for the face, but it also comes with attachment heads for the eye, lip, and body areas, too. Ahead, get the details on the various attachments, and shop the $349 device for just $220 when you add it to your cart by February 18.

What’s Included In The BeautyBio GloPRO Microneedling Tool Kit?

Technically, you get four microneedling tools in one with the BeautyBio kit, as it comes with detachable heads for the face, eyes, lips, and body. All of the attachment heads use stainless steel needles, but the number and length of the needles vary depending on the area the attachment is intended to treat (for example, the attachment head for the lips uses fewer needles that are also thinner than the roller for the body).

In addition to the microneedling benefits, BeautyBio’s device incorporates LED light therapy into the treatment. Once powered on, the GloPRO uses red LED light to further boost collagen production while also helping to minimize redness and inflammation. Because the red LED light is battery-operated, you can activate it as you microneedle so that you don’t have to add a separate treatment into your routine.

New To Microneedling? Here Are Some Tips To Get You Started

It goes without saying that you’ll want to thoroughly read through and follow the directions specific to BeautyBio’s GloPRO Microneedling Tool. But whether you haven’t yet tried microneedling or you need a little refresher, here are a few basic tips to keep in mind:

  1. Always sterilize your microneedling tool before and after each session by soaking the roller (that’s the part with the needles!) in rubbing alcohol for several minutes.
  2. On just-cleansed skin, use upward strokes to roll the tool across your skin in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal motions for about 60 seconds total (avoid going over the same section of skin more than two or three times).
  3. Use the microneedling tool two to three times each week.
  4. While you’ll want to follow up your microneedling treatment with your favorite skin care products, avoid using anything with AHAs or BHAs directly after using your device.
  5. Replace your microneedling attachment heads every two to three months as the needles become dull.
