Here is some news that would be shocking if it's true. According to Us Weekly, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce is on hold. "The divorce is off," a source told the outlet. "They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to." Bustle reached out to reps for Jolie and Pitt for comment, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.

The same source told Us, "She’s still so in love with him." Allegedly, after reading Pitt's May 2017 GQ cover story, where he opened up about their breakup and quitting drinking, Jolie had a change of heart about the divorce. According to a "pal" of the Maleficent star, she allegedly told friends that she would consider getting back together with Pitt "if he showed he was committed to raising a family."

Us' source also said Pitt's choice to stop drinking reportedly helped the situation. "He got sober to try and win her back." The source added, "He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. And that’s all she ever wanted."

While chatting with GQ, the Allied actor said about cutting alcohol out of his life, "I'm really, really happy to be done with all of that. I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. But even this last year, you know — things I wasn't dealing with." He continued, "I was boozing too much. It's just become a problem. And I'm really happy it's been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I've got my feelings in my fingertips again."

In September 2016, Jolie confirmed her divorce from Pitt with a statement from her lawyer reading: "This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."

In July, Jolie opened up to Vanity Fair as the September cover star about the divorce. "It’s just been the hardest time, and we’re just kind of coming up for air," she said about herself and her six children with Pitt. "[This house] is a big jump forward for us, and we’re all trying to do our best to heal our family."
