Posting on Instagram early Friday morning, Beyoncé blessed us with a photo of her twins, Rumi and Sir Carter. Continuing her theme of "divine maternity," the singer looked like a summer goddess as she cradled her 1-month-old twins in front of a wall of romantic flowers, the blue haze of the sea stretched out behind them.

Beyoncé, JAY-Z and daughter Blue Ivy welcomed two new additions to the family last month in a Los Angeles hospital, where the twins stayed for a week as a precaution for being born prematurely. Since then the Carters have escaped to Malibu for the rest of the summer and been keeping a low profile.

The highly anticipated picture of Sir and Rumi most likely took place at La Villa Contenta, the 6.3-acre Malibu mansion that Beyoncé and JAY-Z have rented out. The gorgeous grounds include a rose garden, tennis court and pool house — a luxury home fit for a queen. The picture was also Beyoncé's first Instagram post since giving birth.

Although Beyoncé and JAY-Z hadn't officially announced the twins' arrival until now, Beyoncé's father Matthew Knowles had broken the happy news — perhaps against his daughter's wishes — by congratulating her on Twitter.

The 20-time Grammy winner pretty much broke the internet when she announced her pregnancy on Feb. 1 with the most liked Instagram photo of all time. Following the announcement, Beyoncé continued to treat fans on Instagram with her goddess-like maternity photos and pregnancy fashion.

In another ode to motherhood, the superstar artist wore a gold headdress and gave a memorable show at the 2017 Grammy Awards, performing the tracks "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles" from her visual album Lemonade.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z have already begun the process of trademarking the names Sir Carter and Rumi Carter in a possible attempt to prevent others from monetizing off their children. The couple previously lost a bid to trademark Blue Ivy's name after some companies had already tried to trademark her name for baby clothes and fragrances.

So far, the parents have not explained the reasons behind their children's names, but fans have put forth their own speculations: Sir for the regal sound and "man of rank", Rumi for 13th-century Persian poet or "beauty, flow."

Beyoncé, 35, and rapper JAY-Z, 47, have been married since April 2008 and welcomed their first child Blue Ivy Carter in January 2012. JAY-Z dropped his 14th album 4:44 at the end of June which includes apology track "4:44." The album is seen as a response to Beyoncé's Lemonade, which chronicles how Beyoncé dealt with JAY-Z's alleged infidelity.
