Chrissy Teigen's glamorous super model/television host/cook book author life isn't just about on-point tweets, an adorable family with singer-songwriter John Legend, and a crew of celebrity gal pals. This proud mama's also got to "work, work, work, work, work," to quote the famous Rihanna track, to make a living — and sometimes "work" comes with a few bumps and bruises. In this case, literally. On Jan. 26, Teigen shared an image on Twitter of her bruised legs with the caption, "Job Hazard." Yikes! But why are Chrissy Teigen's legs so bruised?!

In the image, Teigen shows off her legs stretched out on artfully-blanketed bed. The angry reddish-purple marks on the knees honestly made me a little queasy. One look will have you going, "aghhhhhh" and grabbing frozen peas for your own leg when you develop sympathy pains. I can't help but wish for her to have the benefit of cuddling up in a really warm bubble bath as to alleviate the discomfort. If it were me, I'd add some candles, but that's just a personal preference.

What sort of work could the Jill of all trades be doing that would bring about such bruising?

When Twitter user @vblover63 asked Teigen the question on everyone's mind, "Good lord! What happened?!" The Lip Sync Battle co-host shared that it was "Oh just some dancing."

Based on Teigen's previous posts about future episodes of the Spike show in which celebs battle in hilarious lip sync competitions, the dancing injury came from something to do with the series. Teigen recently shared an image of herself losing it in the best way over the performances of Milla Jovovich and Ruby Rose. Meanwhile, on the show, it is common to see her getting, as the kids say, hype to different celebs' work. It looks like future episodes of the series, which is currently in it's third season, are going to be seriously dance-worthy.

It's certainly endearing that Teigen is willing to go through discomfort for the benefit of her fans and fans of her show. As long as she doesn't do anything tooooo dangerous, I'm down with a little bruising around the knees for one's art. I can't wait to see what she was dancing to!
