How To Make Cajun Crab Dip In Just Two Steps

Kirsten Nunez

Nothing beats the flavors of New Orleans. And, now that it is time to celebrate Mardi Gras, you might want to make this Cajun crab dip for the holiday. It features crab meat, corn, and zesty Cajun spices all mixed together in a creamy base. This recipe also requires zero stove time, meaning that it doubles as the perfect last minute party recipe.

Obviously, delicious chip dips can seriously change your snack game. There is a reason why we are all obsessed with salsa con queso, guacamole, and melted cheese recipes. But thanks to this crab dip, you can take a little break from the usual. It also fits right in with other Mardi Gras recipes that you might be preparing.

The best part? It is extremely easy to customize. This is the greatest part of making your own food, after all. The dip calls for sour cream, but you can use ricotta or cottage cheese for a lighter version. Cream cheese can be replaced with Neufchatel, a slightly healthier alternative. You can even add hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce, along with cheddar cheese and scallions. Honestly, the possibilities are endless here.

In just two steps, you can whip up this decadent Mardi Gras recipe. Happy dipping!
