Yes, You Can Turn BECCA Highlighters Into Eyeliner

Beauty vloggers often come up with the best hacks, like using a bottle cap as an eyeshadow guide. But when a brand itself presents an alternate way to use a product, it's even more awesome. BECCA Cosmetics shared this hack for using its Shimmering Skin Perfector powder highlighters as eyeliners. It's a super easy hack and it's one you need to try. Plus, you get even more out of your product, increasing its value.

On its official Instagram, BECCA confirmed that the Shimmering Skin Perfector can be quickly and easily transformed into an eyeliner. More specifically, a metallic eyeliner, which is such a killer trend right now.

All you have to do is wet a thin-tipped or angled eyeliner brush, either by running it under a faucet or with my fave hack, which is to spritz the bristles with an Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray, dip the moist brush directly into the pan of product, and then apply along the lashline for a foiled finish. You can build the look. For dramatic and intense lines, pack a little more product on the brush.

So easy, right? In this case, BECCA suggests using its Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector for creating a rose gold eyeliner.

Highlighters aren't just for highlighting anymore. Yes, glowing, extra dewy skin is a major trend for 2017. But glow-inducing products can be used for so much more a la this hack. One thing to remember — wet the brush, not the actual product. Don't worry — dipping a wet brush won't ruin the product in the pan. I do this all the time and the remaining powder product works just fine.
