Luna Helps John Legend Practice For The Oscars

If I ever have a baby, I really hope he or she is as cute as Luna Simone Stephens. I didn't think it was possible for a child to be this adorable, but Luna continues to prove me wrong over and over again. John Legend has been practicing for his Oscars performance this coming Sunday, where he will sing a La La Land medley consisting of "City of Stars" and "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)." However, a photo he posted of a practice session on Thursday was a bit different, because he found help from a tiny and sweet individual.

As you can see below, Luna half sat/half stood on her dad's lap while he played the piano. By the way, be sure to take note of all of the impressive awards on the shelf behind them. Whoa. Legend captioned the photo, "Practicing for La La with Luna."

She is trying to get in on the key action, too. Just look at her little hands attempting to bust out a tune with her dad. If you think about it, they should probably do a duet on Sunday. Maybe they could forget about La La Land and Legend could sing his song "Right By You (for Luna)" instead? Anyone with me?

OK, if you really want to hear him sing La La Land songs, then Luna can surely still assist him with that. Obviously, she doesn't have all of her dad's musical skills yet, so she'd probably just sit there on his lap and look all cute while he performs. Luna would most likely steal the show, because, well have you seen her face? Sorry, Legend, but it'd be bound to happen.

An appearance from Luna would most definitely make Legend's performance even more memorable.

Obviously, that won't happen and probably because Luna will be chilling at home, watching the Oscars from the comfort of the couch, and going to bed at a decent hour.

But one day it could. There's a high chance that Luna will inherit Legend's musical talents. Seeing as she is already acquainting herself with the piano speaks volumes. Or, you know, she's being a typical baby who likes making noise. Either way, at some point in the future when Luna is older, she may perform alongside her dad. That's something to be excited about.

Until that happens, I'll continue holding out hope that Luna makes a surprise Oscars appearance. The awards show always needs more cuteness.
