What a time to be alive, Gleeks. It's been nearly two years since Ryan Murphy's beloved comedy Glee has been off the air, but Lea Michele is giving fans major Rachel Berry vibes in the sneak peek of her new video "Love Is Alive." Intentional or not on Michele's part, it's pretty amazing. Since her 2014 album Louder, Michele returns to the music scene with her upcoming record Places, out March 3. The album's debut single definitely previews a more mature side of the actor. "I wanted a song on the album that represented where I am personally in my life right now," Michele told People. Although the singer is growing up in front of the world, paying tribute to her past and reminding fans of her roots isn't a bad thing. If anything, it makes fans remember why they fell in love with her in the first place.

The video shows Michele gearing up to perform on a NYC theater stage (which is where she got her start as a kid in real life). Like Michele, Rachel Berry was destined for the Broadway stage. “This album is really about coming back to my roots and the music and artists that inspired me growing up," she said to People. "Being that I grew up in New York and on Broadway, I wanted this video to be shot at a theater to give the illusion of coming back home.”

Not only does the video bring fans to her NYC upbringing, but straight to fictional one at William McKinley High School for the Arts as well.

Watching Michele belt it out and own the stage made me feel like I was reliving all of her epic, show-stopping performances in Glee. Like when she took on Céline Dion's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" and gave the world chills:

Or channeled Barbra Streisand with "Don't Rain on My Parade" in a stunning rendition:

And gave everyone major feels when returning to McKinley to belt out "This Time" to an empty auditorium:

Are the similarities not uncanny?

If anything, it proves Michele's talents run deep, and although she's going places, her true gifts as an entertainer are here to stay.
