A day after recordings from inside the White House made by a former Apprentice star and presidential adviser went public, more were dropped live on daytime television. Omarosa Manigault Newman revealed a recording of Trump she claims was made on the day she was fired, and in it, he didn't seem to know that his chief of staff had let her go. "I didn’t know that," Trump is heard saying. "Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all."

The tape was played on NBC's Today Monday morning and is allegedly from December 2017, the day that Manigault Newman was let go by Trump Chief of Staff General John Kelly. Bustle reached out to the White House for comment on the new recording.

"Omarosa? Omarosa, what’s going on? I just saw on the news that you’re thinking about leaving? What happened?" Trump is heard saying on the recording.

"General Kelly — General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave," Manigault Newman responds.

"No… I, I, nobody even told me about it," Trump says.

"Wow," you can then hear Manigault Newman say.

"You know they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it," Trump then says on the tape. "I didn’t know that. Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all."

On Sunday, Manigault Newman appeared on NBC's Meet the Press and said that she personally had heard tapes of the president using the N-word and claimed that he "is truly a racist." Manigault Newman made similar allegations in her new book, Unhinged.

The White House did not comment but did send Kellyanne Conway on ABC's This Week to refute some of the allegations in the book. "I think that Omarosa unfortunately has undercut her own credibility," Conway said on ABC.

In addition to the comments on Trump recordings made during the filming of The Apprentice, Manigault Newman released a tape allegedly recorded as Kelly fired her in the situation room.

"I think it’s important to understand that if we make this a friendly departure, we can all be, you know, we can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation. And then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation," Kelly is heard saying on the tape.

On Meet the Press, Manigault Newman addressed why she made the recordings — the existence of which has security personnel worried about White House security.

“I protected myself because this is a White House where everybody lies," Manigault Newman said on NBC. "The president lies to the American people. Sarah Huckabee stands in front of the country and lies every single day. You have to have your own back because otherwise you’ll look back and you’ll see 17 knives in your back.”

While the White House hasn't responded to the recordings, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders did respond to allegations in Manigault Newman's book on Friday.

"It’s sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the president during her time in the administration,” Sanders said.

There is so far no word on whether Manigualt Newman has a recording to refute that.
