The 'Bad Moms Christmas' Trailer Is Here To Spice Up The Holidays

The Bad Moms are back and taking on a whole new aspect of motherhood that you never gave enough thought to: Christmas. In the A Bad Moms Christmas trailer, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn return as Amy, Kiki, and Carla respectively, and they want you to know that the only reason you've had so many great Christmases is because of your mother busting her ass to make it so. But what happens when mothers stop giving joy and start being happy themselves? Santa lap dances and a lot of drinking and swearing, that's what. So, basically, everything that defined the original Bad Moms movie is taken up to the holiday 11 for this next one.

The chemistry between the three women has always been obvious, but the trailer really emphasizes how the three of them work together to occupy their comedic niches. We have Kiki as the under-appreciated, uptight mother who is finally breaking out of her shell and being adorable doing it. We have Carla as the raunchy joke machine with a heart of gold and a ton of vaginas to wax before the holidays. And we have Amy, whose interactions with her children are equal parts sweet and cringe-inducing. But at least she's still with Hot Dad.

But, most of all, the NSFW trailer emphasizes that you can be a bad mom and a good mom at the same time; the two aren't mutually exclusive and it's OK to be both even despite your best efforts. So however Christmas ends up turning out for these three, the first movie already had us rooting for them — and for their own mothers, who turn up to help with the holidays. Well, depending on your definition of help, according to the synopsis:

A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.

Whether or not you think A Bad Moms Christmas can improve upon the first film is up to you, but one thing is for sure: the holidays won't be boring with Amy, Kiki, and Carla around.
